Heritage Floor Restoration
Baltimore’s older neighborhoods are full of homes with original hardwood waiting underneath years of wear. This restoration project was about uncovering that character again — sanding, repairing where needed, and refinishing so the floors could take their place at the center of the home.
We worked with the existing wood rather than forcing a modern look onto it. That means reading the grain, evening out the surface, and choosing a finish that protects without erasing the floor’s history.
When we packed up, the house felt more itself again: warm wood underfoot, a restored surface you can be proud of, and another piece of Baltimore’s built history cared for the right way.
