Century-Old Heart Pine Restoration
Some floors tell a story you can feel with your bare feet. In this Baltimore home, we restored original heart pine flooring that had been walking the house for roughly a hundred years — worn, uneven in places, but still full of character.
Heart pine is a treasure: dense grain, deep color, and a warmth you simply cannot buy new. Our team carefully sanded and refinished the existing boards, protecting what made them special while bringing back a smooth, even surface.
What came back was not a brand-new floor pretending to be old — it was the same historic wood, renewed with respect, ready for the next generation of family life in Baltimore.
